It was around a month ago that Apple announced the dates for the 2013 edition of its Worldwide Developers Conference, and today the Cupertino firm spilled a bit more information about its plans for the event. Apple has confirmed to AllThingsD that its WWDC keynote address is scheduled for Monday, June 10, the first day of the gathering. The entire conference will take place from June 10 through June 14.
While it's no surprise to learn that Apple is planning to hold its keynote during the first day of WWDC 2013, it's still nice to get confirmation of the scheduling so that we can all mark it down on our calendars. It's expected that Apple CEO Tim Cook will help kick the show off, likely with some help from other company executives like Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi. As for what Apple has planned for WWDC, the firm has previously said that it's looking forward to getting new versions of iOS and OS X into the hands of developers, so expect to get previews of both during the event.
