The HTC One remains #1

In week 62 of PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™, the HTC One remained in the lead, fending off the Samsung Galaxy S 4 for a second week and holding the first place positions on the People’s Choice and Expert’s Choice charts.  With more than twice the reader votes of its Galaxy competitor, HTC’s flagship smartphone continues to impress with current availabilty on AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile.  Can it hold the buzz and maintain the top spots for the foreseeable future?

MT PLEASANT, SC – For 62 weeks and counting, PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) has become the gold standard for ranking the best smartphones on the market by placing votes from readers and experts alike in respective charts each week. For a second week, the HTC One held the first place spots from the Samsung Galaxy S 4, garnering higher totals on both the People’s Choice and Expert’s Choice charts.  The HTC One received a total of 614 votes and 54 expert points.  The people kept the Samsung Galaxy S 4 in second place with 225 votes, while the Samsung Galaxy Note II remained in third place with 85 votes.

The Google Nexus 4 fell to fourth place with 72 votes, followed by the BlackBerry Z10 in fifth place with 38 votes. On the Expert’s Choice Chart, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 held the second place position with 49 points, while the Apple iPhone 5 took the third place position with 27 points.  In fourth place, the Samsung Galaxy Note II with 21 points, while the fifth place position was awarded to the Google Nexus 4 with 13 points.
