T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S 4 to begin receiving software update on May 7

T-Mobile's flavor of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 has only been available for purchase for a week now, but it looks like any Magenta Army members that've already snagged one will soon be treated to a software update for their shiny new phone. T-Mobile has announced that an update will begin rolling out to the Galaxy S 4 tomorrow, May 7, that will bump the device up to baseband version M919UVUAMDL (it launched with M919UVUAMDB). Galaxy S 4 owners will be able to snag it over the air or through Samsung Kies.

The official changelog for the update is rather small, with improvements to the Visual Voicemail and Isis apps being the only tweaks named by T-Mobile. The update itself is somewhat large for having such a small changelog, though, coming in at 168MB in size.

This new update may not be terribly exciting for T-Mobile Galaxy S 4 owners, especially since Isis is only available in two U.S. markets, but it's still good to see T-Mo and Samsung issuing improvements to the device so quickly after launch. If you're already rocking the T-Mobile version of Samsung's latest flagship, you can check for your phone's inaugural update tomorrow by going into Settings > More tab > About device > Software update. Don't forget to come back and let us know once you're able to grab it!
