U.S. Cellular launching Samsung Galaxy S 4 in stores April 30, pre-orders going out April 26

The string of Samsung Galaxy S 4 U.S. launch announcements continues! U.S. Cellular just pinged us to say that its version of the Galaxy S 4 will be available for purchase on its website starting this Friday, April 26, with in-store availability to follow on April 30. Pricing for the U.S. Cellular-flavored 16GB Galaxy S 4 is set at $199.99 with a two-year commitment, and the carrier will be offering both the White Frost and Black Mist versions of the device.

U.S. Cellular also provided an update on its Galaxy S 4 pre-sale that kicked off on April 16 and is still going on as of this writing. The operator says that pre-orders of the Galaxy S 4 will begin shipping out on April 26 along with the free S View Flip Covers that U.S. Cellular is offering as part of its pre-sale.

As we noted when U.S. Cellular announced its Galaxy S 4 pre-order plans, this version of Samsung's new flagship will feature support for U.S. Cellular's 4G LTE network. That LTE service is currently available to 61 percent of the U.S. Cellular customer base, and USCC has said that the coverage will grow to cover 87 percent of its subscriber base by the end of the year. That's certainly good news for U.S. Cellular customers and anyone interested in picking up this version of the Galaxy S 4 when it arrives later this month. As usual, you can bet that we'll give you a shout once we get more details on U.S. Cellular's LTE expansion plans.
