The new ASUS PadFone Infinity may be getting the lion's share of the phone-that-docks-into-a-tablet spotlight lately, but ASUS recently decided to show the original PadFone some love as well. The company has released a Jelly Bean update for the OG PadFone, bumping the device up from Android 4.0 to Android 4.1.1. There are several improvements packed into the new bundle of software, including a better Camera preview, enhanced dictionary and support for NTFS and EX Fat on SD cards. The full changelog provided by ASUS is as follows:

Of course, getting updated to Jelly Bean also brings with it some Google-made goodies, such as Google Now and its information cards as well as Project Butter's increased smoothness of operation. Any PadFone owners that want to get in on this new treat as soon as possible (and really, why wouldn't you?) can download the v10.2.1.9 Jelly Bean update from ASUS's website. The update is a big 'un, weighing in at 579.51MB, but all of the improvements that it offers ought to make the work of downloading and installation worth it.
