"Best Phone Iv'e Owned So Far !"  By SEANBOY1 on December 30, 2012

I started my smart phone ownership with the Iphone 3g. It was the best phone at the time ( In my opinion.. ). But then I started getting jealous of the larger screen Android phones. I was with AT&T so I decided to try the Motorola Atrix 2. It was nice enough with it's 4.3 inch screen. This is when I was introduced to the Android world. I had to get used to it's quirks. It seemed you had to download apps to make certain things work ( like google voice for visual voicemail and a music player like google music to play my music. ). OK, Android fanatic's, before you get up into my grill, I'm ok with it now! Then the Galaxy Note came out and I lusted for that one. Since I had used Best Buy's buy back program, I traded my Atrix 2 in on the Note. I loved it and it's nice non-pentile screen, but it was just too big for my pocket. I then went to the Iphone 4. This is when I started to realize I wanted a nice high resolution screen. Then the Galaxy S3 came out. I had read the reviews and everyone loved this thing. I relied on the professional reviewers who seemed to mention it's pentile display and said it was not noticeable to the naked eye. This was my first time hearing about pentile displays. So, I decided to get the gs3. But I wanted an LTE network that was already up and running, so I jumped ship and left AT&T and went to Verizon. When the clerk turned on the gs3, I was horrified. After coming from the iphone ( approx. 320 ppi, ) and the Note ( approx. 270 ish NON PENTILE ) the gs3 screen was blurry to me! These naked eyes could see the difference! I decided to give it a chance anyway. The screen size and size of the phone were perfect. But, I just couldn't get over the pentile display. I decided to return the gs3 and get the Iphone 5. It was nice enough ( camera and battery life are superb ) but the screen was still too small. I returned it. But Verizon had no viable phones! They were all pentile display phones or old and outdated.. So I got a Best Buy gift card and got a used Thunderbolt. It was big and battery life was crappy, but I enjoyed the 4.3 inch non pentile screen. I then discovered the HTC Rezound. It's screen was beautiful. It's ppi is 340! Remember Iphone's is about 320 ppi. So, I figured I would just use the Rezound ( it also was big and had horrible battery life ) until something better came along ( remember I am now stuck with Verizon's selection of phones.). Thankfully I didn't have to wait long! The DNA arrived! It has a beautiful 5 inch NON-PENTILE high resolution 441 ppi screen. And the size of the phone is the same as the gs3! The camera is very good. The battery is a huge surprise! It actually lasts me all day. And with minimal use, into the next day! I have kept my music collection to about 6 gigs so the 16 gigs works for me. I have fallen in love with this phone. You just need to hold one in your hand and I think you would agree.
