Nexus 4 available once again from Google's Play Store

As I'm sure that many Android fans are aware at this point, the Nexus 4 has been a pretty tough little smartphone to buy. It's sold out fairly quickly each time that Google has restocked its official Play Store with more units, leaving many that aren't quick enough on the mouse click without a Nexus 4 to call their own. Those folks are getting another opportunity to buy Google and LG's new handset today, though, as Google's Play Store finally has more Nexus 4 inventory. Just like when it launched last year, pricing for the Nexus 4 is set at $299 for the 8GB model and $349 for the more capacious 16GB version. Both units are listed as shipping in one to two weeks.

The Nexus 4 has sporadically been available from retailers other than Google recently, including T-Mobile and Best Buy. However, the big difference between those retailers and Google is that the non-Google shops have been selling the Nexus 4 for $150-$200 with a two-year contract and $500 or more without a commitment, whereas Google is asking $300 or $350 sans contract. Those are pretty good prices for a new smartphone with a 4.7-inch 1280x768 display, quad-core processor and 8-megapixel rear/2-megapixel front cameras, and today those folks that've been patiently waiting for Google to get more stock of the Nexus 4 to take advantage of those low prices are being rewarded with another opportunity to buy. The Nexus 4 can be purchased from Google's Play Store using the links below, so grab that credit card and get to clicking.
