T-Mobile tipped to be kicking off new sale on Dec. 21, several devices available for $0 net down payment

Good news for anyone still in the hunt for a holiday gift or two, as it looks like T-Mobile will soon be kicking off a sale that'll include several discounted devices. According to an image received by TmoNews, T-Mobile's "Zero Down Sale" will be starting on Dec. 21 and will run through Dec. 31, giving customers plenty of time to snag some gifts or spend holiday cash. Many T-Mo smartphones will be available for $0 net down payment after mail-in rebate, including the Samsung Galaxy S III, the Nexus 4 and the HTC Windows Phone 8X. The Samsung Galaxy Note II will also have its price reduced, though buyers will end up paying a net down payment of $99.99 after rebate for the phone/tablet hybrid.

As with many recent T-Mobile sales, this new promotion requires a qualifying Unlimited Value plan, Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan and a two-year commitment. It's said that both new customers and those subscribers willing to make the switch to a Value plan are eligible. Finally, it's also worth noting that these devices will require monthly Equipment Installment Plan payments, which is set at $20 for most devices in the promo.

With high-end handsets like the Galaxy S III, Nexus 4 and 8X all included in this sale for a $0 net down payment, this upcoming T-Mobile promotion looks like something that may be worth looking into for anyone interested in signing up for a Value plan. That requirement may be a turn-off for some, but considering T-Mo's recent sales and that the carrier is going all-in on Value plans next year, it's not a surprise to see that Value plans are the focus here. As usual, we'll give you a shout once we hear anything official from T-Mobile about this sale. Anyone thinking about taking part?
