Photos taken with Nexus 10 posted to Google+ by Vic Gundotra

Just in case anyone needed more evidence of the existence of a Nexus 10 tablet, a Google executive just gave it up. Vic Gundotra, SVP, Engineering at Google, just posted a couple of photos to his Google+ feed that appear to have been taken by the still-unannounced Nexus 10. Both photos show beaches and water, and in the EXIF data for the two images, "Nexus 10" is listed as the camera type. The resolution of the images is 2048x1536, which works out to around 3.1 megapixels, though it's possible that the shots were scaled down for uploading to Google's social network.

This isn't the first photo we've seen with the name "Nexus 10" in the EXIF data, but it is the first time we've seen such images from from a high-level Google employee. While there's no indication of what the tablet's specs may be or what it may look like in these shots, Gundotra is still doing a nice job of teasing Google's upcoming device, which is expected to feature a 10-inch display. The Samsung-made Nexus 10 is expected to make its official debut at Google's Android event on October 29. We'll be there live, so whatever Google decides to pull out of its hat on the stage, you can bet that you'll find all of the news as it happens on PhoneDog.
