LG Nexus 4 rumored to be set for October 29 announcement

A rumor from earlier this month claimed that LG's Nexus handset, which may be known as the LG Nexus 4, could be announced at the end of October. Now we've got an exact date to circle on our calendars (in pencil, of course) courtesy of French newspaper Le Figaro. The publication claims that the Nexus 4 will be introduced on October 29, with an arrival in France possibly scheduled for early December.

While this October 29 announcement is still a rumor at this point, it's worth noting that the D: Dive Into Mobile conference will be going down on October 29 and October 30, and Android head Andy Rubin just so happens to be lined up as a speaker for that shindig. As for a U.S. launch, it's been said that we might see the Nexus 4 land on store shelves sometime in mid-November, so Android fans that are hungry for the next Nexus may not have long of a wait between the N4's announcement and release. So now that it looks like the pieces of this puzzle are starting to come together, who's getting excited? Based on the rumors and leaks so far, do you plan on checking out the LG Nexus 4?
