Looks like the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q has gotten a quick pre-release name change. While a previous T-Mobile document referred to this Magenta-bound slider as the Galaxy S Blaze Q, a new training doc posted by TmoNews has revealed that the device is now the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G. The leak also confirms that the Relay 4G has mobile hotspot and is SAFE (Samsung Approved For Enterprise) approved. However, one thing that this doc doesn't have any information on is the Relay 4G's release date. Previously it was thought that the phone formerly known as Blaze Q would be launching on August 15, but obviously that date came and went without any new T-Mo phones to be found.
As a reminder, the Galaxy S Relay 4G is expected to feature a spec sheet that includes a 4-inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, S Voice, NFC support, 50GB of complimentary Dropbox space for two years and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. That's not a bad list, especially for T-Mobile folk that are hungry for a new Android handset with a physical QWERTY, regardless of what it's called. Now we just have to wait for more launch details to surface, whether it be from another leak or from an official T-Mobile announcement. Stay tuned.
