Samsung SGH-T899 user agent profile may hint at T-Mobile Windows Phone 8 device with 4G LTE

T-Mobile has already confirmed that it'll be a Windows Phone 8 launch partner, but so far there's been no word on precisely which device(s) the Magenta carrier might offer. That changes today, as a user agent profile on Samsung's site has been discovered by our pals at TmoNews and may offer details on an upcoming Samsung-made Windows Phone 8 handset. Featuring the model number SGH-T899, the product is listed as featuring Internet Explorer 10, which is one of the new features of Windows Phone 8, as well as a 720x1280 display. T-Mobile customers will be happy to hear that the user agent profile also lists the SGH-T899 as packing support for LTE as well as HSPA+ connectivity.

While there's not much else about the SGH-T899 to go on, TmoNews suggests that it could be the Samsung Odyssey that leaked out last month. According to that document, the Odyssey is packing LTE/21Mbps HSPA+, a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, NFC and a 1.5GHz dual-core MSM8960 processor that's capable of 42Mbps HSPA+ support. Not a bad spec sheet, eh Magenta folk? T-Mobile's LTE network won't be going live until 2013, but at least owners of this mystery SGH-T899 will be ready to hop on once it goes live. So, any of you T-Mobile customers adding the SGH-T899 to your "Give me now!" list?
