Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 arriving in early June with Android 4.0 and $349 price tag

Lenovo originally introduced us to its IdeaTab S2109 back in early April, but at the time the manufacturer didn't have any availability details to share. Fast-forward to today, and Lenovo has finally spilled the Ice Cream Sandwich-flavored beans. The company today announced that the IdeaTab S2109 will be launching in "early June" at select Office Depot stores and at Lenovo's website. Pricing for the IdeaTab S2109 starts at $349.

As a quick spec refresher, the IdeaTab S2109 features a 9.7-inch 1024x768 IPS display, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, micro-HDMI, micro-USB and a microSD slot and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in a body that measures 8.9mm thick. Buried inside that body, you'll find a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The IdeaTab S2109 may not have quite as high-end a spec list as some of its Android tablet brethren, but its combination of Android 4.0 and a $349 price tag could seal the deal for some folks in the market for a new slate.
