Happy Friday PhoneDog fans.  To kick off this weekend in May we are featuring a user review today for the HTC One S.  It has become the premier line for HTC and this version has been popular Globally and with the T-Mobile faithful Stateside.  This review comes to us from John Ariola.  Enjoy.

Fast Light And Great Looking By John Ariola, posted: May 9

First no matter which phone ICS is a vast improvement over Gingerbread. That said about the One S I have been using it for almost 2 weeks have had no problems no crashing the phone is considerably faster than my previous HTC G2. As far as looks there is only so much you can do with a phone. That said this phone rings a lot of bells with it's flowing blue anodized unibody construction and rounded overhanging screen. It's design is simply gorgeous as phone tech goes.. In hand it's light and very comfortable and still thin even after you cover it with a case. This must be the lightest thinnist smartphone available today. So now to answer probably the 3 questions on most minds.

Nonreplaceable battery: a nonissue for me I used to use at least one battery sometimes more a day using my G2 I'm by no means a heavy user of data or avid movie watcher. But I do hotspot a lot by comparison this phone easily lasts from 7am until 9pm and stanby is excellent. I believe it's mainly due to a more efficient S4 cpu and lighter UI. Storage: More than enough for me but I might not be the one to ask since my G2 had a 16gb card and it still had 14gb available after almost 2 years.

Screen: Pentile Matrix I am a average Joe and cannot notice anything that would be considered unacceptable I think had it not been mentioned on other reviews 9 out of 10 would not notice a thing people say they see it because they heard someone else seen something and want to feel they are at least as good as the guy who claims they seen somthing but in day to day use you would never notice at least in my case even after looking closely I still don't see a problem.
