Are you a Sprint customer in the market for a new Android handset? You'll want to take note of this latest batch of rumors from S4GRU. According to sources speaking to the site, both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper will be hitting Sprint shelves on April 15th. There's no word yet on how much the two devices may cost when they arrive, though S4GRU expects the Viper to be more wallet-friendly than the Galaxy Nexus.
If neither of those handsets are up your alley, S4GRU also claims that an HTC-made device codenamed "Jet" will be coming to Sprint with 4G LTE connectivity on June 10th. The site believes that the Jet is going to be Sprint's version of the HTC One X and will include a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, NFC and LTE. The One X also features a 4.7-inch 1280x720 display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It's not known what the Jet may officially be called when it launches, but HTC has said that it wants to keep things simple when it comes to the names of the One devices, so the Jet could end up with "HTC One" as part of its final title or just simply be known as "HTC One X" like it is on AT&T.
We've yet to really hear much from Sprint when it comes to the launch dates of the Galaxy Nexus or LG Viper, as the carrier has only said that it'll share availability details closer to the devices' releases. April 15th is now less than a month out, though, so we may be hearing more soon if that date holds true. As for the Jet, we've seen HTC and Sprint collaborate on several handsets in the past, so it wouldn't be crazy to see them come together again for a Sprint One X. S4GRU also notes that June 10th is just after the two-year anniversary of the EVO 4G's debut, meaning that folks that picked up an OG EVO at or around launch could have a spiffy new smartphone in the One X to upgrade to.
