AT&T expands 4G LTE network to markets in Florida, North Carolina

Just one day after Valentine's Day, it looks like AT&T has given a belated gift to some of its customers in Florida and North Carolina. The carrier announced today that it has expanded its 4G LTE network to the Tampa-St. Petersberg and Sarasota-Bradenton areas of Florida as well as the Durham portion of North Carolina. AT&T says that its 4G LTE network is now available in 28 markets across the country.

That may not be the largest LTE expansion we've ever seen, but we're glad to see AT&T's LTE network continue to grow, especially since its roster of products that are able to access that network will soon be growing with the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note.
