Amazon Kindle Fire bumped up to software version 6.2.2, full-screen browsing in tow

Just about a month after Amazon began rolling the last Kindle Fire update out to owners of the 7-inch slate, and today another update has been made available. This latest software upgrade brings the Kindle Fire up to version 6.2.2 and packs in enhanced fluidity and performance, improved support for manually set up email providers in the Email app and a new full-screen browsing mode.

Amazon says that the 6.2.2 update is currently rolling out over the air to users and that you can check for it by tapping on the Quick Settings icon in the upper right corner of your device and then hitting "Sync."
