Sprint: Galaxy Nexus will have 32GB of internal storage

Yesterday Sprint made its version of the LTE Galaxy Nexus nice and official by plastering the handset on its LTE website, complete with Ice Cream Sandwich and Google Wallet. Interestingly, at the time the site listed Sprint's Galaxy Nexus as having 16GB of storage, which is half the amount present on the Verizon model. Sprint today clarified to MobileBurn that that information is inaccurate, though, explaining that its version of the LTE Galaxy Nexus will also have 32GB of built-in storage. Checking the aforementioned LTE page on Sprint's site reveals that it's been updated since we first looked at it yesterday, now listing the Galaxy Nexus as having 32GB of storage.

The difference between having 16GB or 32GB of included memory may not seem like a big deal to some, but since the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have expandable storage to allow the user to add more memory using a microSD card, the amount that the phone comes with is what the owner is stuck with. Still no word on exactly when the Sprint Galaxy Nexus will be launching or how much it'll cost when it does, but at least now you know how many apps, photos and videos you'll be able to cram onto the thing.
