Today Verizon stores officially began selling the Motorola DROID Xyboard in 8.2-inch and 10.1-inch varieties, but if you'd prefer your 4G LTE tablet to be a tad on the smaller side, Big Red may soon have something right up your alley. As you can see up above, new images sent to Droid-Life show that an LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 have entered Verizon's computers. What the photos don't show, however, is when the 4G Tab 7.7 might be released.
For those that'd like a spec refresher, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is packing a 7.7-inch 1280x800 Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 3-megapixel camera, 5,100mAh battery and Android 3.2 running beneath Samsung's TouchWiz UI. The only other 7-inch slate on Verizon's roster is the non-Honeycomb, non-4G Galaxy Tab, so this new 7.7-inch model should make for a nice addition to the smaller end of Big Red's tablet lineup when it launches. Any of you think you'd be interested in a Verizon 4G LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab 7.7?
