Launching on December 4th for $249.99 with a two-year contract, the Nitro HD is packing a 4.5-inch 1280x720 AH-IPS (Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching) display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, 4GB built-in storage, 16GB microSD card included, AT&T LTE connectivity, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread beneath a custom LG skin. And for those of you wondering, AT&T's LTE network is currently available in 15 markets, the full list of which can be found here.
The Nitro HD is the third 4G LTE handset to hit AT&T's roster, and although it features the same size display as the other two devices, it's got the highest screen resolution of the bunch. That spec alone helps the Nitro to stand out, but the fact that it's also packing LTE and a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU should make this thing pretty tough to resist for AT&T customers in the hunt for a new phone.
