Not quite feeling AT&T's first pair of LTE-capable smartphones, the HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket? If so, you may want to give the device you see a good look-see. According to the folks at Pocketnow, that's the LG Nitro HD, which looks to be AT&T's version of the LG Optimus LTE. Specs for the Nitro HD are said to include a 4.5-inch 1280x720 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, another camera around front, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 1,830mAh battery, and support for AT&T's 4G LTE network. As for which version of Android the Nitro HD is packing, considering that the render shows the phone with capacitive navigation keys as well as the fact that LG's Optimus LTE comes preloaded with Android 2.3, I'd say that Gingerbread looks like a safe bet.
So that's the LG Nitro HD for AT&T. Just about the only details we don't have about this upcoming handset are when it'll launch and how much it'll cost when it does, but hey, at least we've got that nice render to stare at until we hear more. What do you all make of the Nitro HD? Think it'll be the AT&T LTE phone to beat or does it lag behind the Vivid and/or Skyrocket?
