Nokia Sun details emerge, include 3.7-inch AMOLED display and Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

Yesterday Nokia CEO Stephen Elop reaffirmed that his company's first Windows Phone powered device would debut sometime this quarter, but what we don't know is precisely which device(s) Nokia has up its sleeve. So far we know of two Nokia-branded Windows Phones — the Sea Ray and Sabre — and now another we've got another one to add to the list. What you're looking at above is an image from French operator Orange's system sent to Mon Windows Phone that mentions the name "Nokia Sun" and even gives up some spec details on the mystery handset: 3.7-inch AMOLED display, 1.4GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera, 16GB storage, unibody polycarbonate shell, microSIM support, and Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.

The downside here is that although we've got the Sun name and a few specs to go by, there's no photo to accompany the information, so we don't know for sure whether this is an entirely new piece of hardware or just a device that's leaked out before with a new name. Mon Windows Phone reports that the Sun is expected to hit Orange between November 7th and 13th though, so if that date holds true we could very well see the Sun rise at Nokia World at the end of this month.
