HTC Flyer launching at U.S. Cellular on October 7th

Late last month saw U.S. Cellular announce that it would be launching three new Android-powered devices — the HTC Hero S, Wildfire S, and Flyer — in October, but the carrier stopped short of saying precisely when during the month the products would be going on sale. Now we can mark one of those devices down on our calendar, though, as U.S. Cellular has confirmed that its Flyer will be available starting tomorrow, October 7th.

As far as pricing for the Flyer goes, interested customers can expect to pay $399.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and two-year commitment. It's worth mentioning that in order to get that price, though, users must also sign up for a $54.99/5GB per month data plan. Subscribers that would rather sign up for U.S. Cellular's $14.99/200MB per month data plan will need to pay $599.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. Anyone thinking about pulling the trigger?
