Huawei tablet caught in the wild with 7-inch display and T-Mobile 4G

Yesterday T-Mobile announced that it plans to offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 at some point in the future, which is good news since it's been a while since we've seen a new slate hit Magenta's lineup. If you'd prefer something a tad smaller than the Tab 10.1, though, I present you the image above. The device you're looking at above is a Huawei-made 7-inch slate — likely the MediaPad — destined for T-Mobile's network. Our hombres at TmoNews report that this slate is packing a 7-inch 1280x800 IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a pair of cameras, 16GB built-in storage, 4,100mAh battery, Flash 10.3, T-Mobile 4G support, and Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

As for availability details, the TmoNews tipster thinks that this Huawei slate could see an introduction at CTIA next month and, at launch, could be priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract. Sounds like a pretty good deal, no? Of course, we'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see if the information holds up. Anyone out there think you'd be interested in snagging a T-Mobile 4G-enabled Honeycomb slate for a pair of Benjamins?
