Motorola MB865 Edison, Samsung Focus S stop into the FCC on the way to AT&T

Heads up, AT&T-ers: a pair of devices destined for your network just made their way through the FCC. First up is the Motorola MB865, which the FCC filing has revealed is the owner of the Edison codename that we saw pop up earlier this week. The Moto MB865 originally appeared back in July as a possible successor to the Atrix 4G. As usual, the FCC report doesn't offer up much in the way of details about the MB865, meaning the only specs that we know of so far are the 8-megapixel camera around back and the front-facing camera of unknown resolution. Something else that the MB865's FCC filing doesn't have is any mention of LTE connectivity, something that the device was rumored to be packing.

The second AT&T-bound handset spotted in the FCC recently is the SGH-I937, which is believed to be the recently-announced Samsung Focus S. Once again, there's not much in the FCC report that we didn't already know, but at least this Mango-powered handset is one step closer to its fall launch.

So there you have it, AT&T folk. It's kind of a bummer that the Moto MB865 doesn't have any LTE support like had been rumored, but the good news is that AT&T customers looking for an LTE-enabled smartphone still have the HTC Holiday to look forward to. Any of you out there think that either the MB865 or Focus S may be in your future?
