Nexus Prime due to arrive in October with 4.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display? [UPDATED]

Been clamoring for the Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Nexus Prime since details of the device first cropped up last month? Of course you have! Thankfully, if a report from Korea's Electronic Times is to be believed, the wait for the next Nexus and ICS may nearly be over. According to the site, the Nexus Prime is due to arrive in sometime in October. On the spec side of things, Electronic Times claims that the Nexus Prime will feature a 4.5-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and Ice Cream Sandwich.

Today's report echoes the previously-mentioned news from back in July, which also alleged that the Nexus Prime will feature LTE connectivity when it launches. There was no mention of 4G support in this latest rumor. So could it all be true? Will the next device in Google's Nexus line be slipping some Ice Cream Sandwich goodness into our Halloween bag? We can't quite answer that with certainty just yet, but it's definitely possible. Seeing the Nexus Prime go head-to-head with the iPhone 5 in October would be pretty epic, though, wouldn't it?

UPDATE: According to a source speaking to TechnoBuffalo, a device going by the name "Samsung Prime" has been spotted in use by Verizon employees. The product's specs are said to line up nicely with the ones you see above, suggesting that Verizon may finally be getting a Nexus device later this year.
