Way back in January of this year, Dell took to the CES stage to tease a 10-inch version of its Android-powered Streak tablet. Dell didn't reveal much about the slate at the time, saying only that we'd see more of the device later on. Apparently someone didn't feel like waiting any longer, as a photo of the Dell Streak 10 Pro resting alongside the Streak 5 and Streak 7 has made its way online today. Rumored specs for the Streak 10 Pro include a 10.1-inch 1280x800 display, dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 5-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 1GB RAM, and the Honeycomb flavor of Android. Dell recently said that it plans to launch the 10-inch slate in China first and then evaluate the possibility of offerring it in other markets in the second half of this year.
Another interesting aspect of this photo is that it shows a Dell Streak 7 running Honeycomb, despite the fact that the 7-incher is currently only officially running Android 2.2 Froyo. Perhaps an update to Android 3.0 is in the pipeline? One can only hope.
So will we ever see the Dell Streak 10 Pro land stateside? I'm sure Dell would like to release its 10-inch slate into the ever-growing U.S. Android tablet market, and the fact that AT&T and T-Mobile released previous models of the Streak could pave the way for the Streak 10 Pro's arrival on either of the GSM carriers. (Or just the one carrier, if AT&T's proposed acquisition of T-Mobile goes through.) Anyone think they'd be interested in the Dell Streak 10 Pro if it were launched here in the U.S.?
