Heads up, Nexus S 4G owners: your beloved WiMAX Android smartphone may soon be seeing a pretty important software update. According to a document leaked to SprintFeed, the GRJ90 update will hit the Nexus S 4G on July 11th, aka next Monday, and will include the following fixes:
That first one is a biggie, as it'll finally allow the device to use Google Wallet. It remains to be seen when Google will actually launch the Wallet service, but hey, at least Nexus S 4G owners will be able to make use of it. If a report from Droid-Life is to be believed, GRJ90 is so important that Google has decided that, once the update's installed, it'll bump the NS4G up to Android 2.3.5. You can find evidence of the site's claim below, which shows an NS4G running 2.3.5. The photo shows that the device is running a slightly older GRJ85 build, but you can see 2.3.5 plain as day. Stay tuned, pals!
