LG Thrill 4G set to launch on AT&T this summer

AT&T's been pretty quiet about the LG Thrill 4G ever since it announced the device back at CTIA, but today the carrier broke its silence to give us a bit more insight on when the Thrill will launch. There's still no solid release date for you to circle on your calendar, but today AT&T did promise that the Thrill 4G will be arriving in stores this summer. No word on how much the handset will cost when it hits, but AT&T did remind us of the Thrill's specs: 4.3-inch 800x480 glasses-free 3D display, 1GHz dual-core processor, dual 5-megapixel cameras that can capture photos in 3D as well as 1080p 2D video and 720p 3D video, front-facing camera for video chat, HDMI out, 8GB of built-in storage, an 8GB microSD card, and Android 2.2. Peep the full presser below.

It's worth mentioning that the Thrill 4G passed through the FCC earlier this month which, while not a confirmation that the handset will indeed be coming soon, is usually a good indicator that a launch isn't far off. In the mean time, you can check out Señor Aaron Baker's review of the LG Optimus 3D, the non-U.S. version of the Thrill, right here and here. Anyone thinking of pulling the trigger on the Thrill 4G later this summer?
