Vizio's 8-inch Android tablet was recently spotted in the FCC and at Walmart with a $349 price tag, suggesting that the slate may be hitting store shelves sometime in the near future. Today we've gotten an idea of exactly when the Vizio tablet may be launching, courtesy of an internal Walmart schedule sent over to Engadget. As you can see above, the device will allegedly begin shipping in "week 26," which is about six weeks from now.
Although Vizio's slate is entering an already-crowded Android tablet market, its 8-inch screen size and rumored $349 price tag could help it stand out among other, more expensive options. If the device is indeed coming in a month and a half, we should be hearing official word from Vizio sometime in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
