Dual-core processors are all the rage nowadays, and if the image you see above is to be believed, then Sony Ericsson will soon be joining in on that trend with a dual-core offering of its own. The device in question is reportedly called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo and is said to be the first SE handset packing a dual-core processor. There's no word on what kind of processor the Duo has, nor are any of the device's other specs known, but hey, the possible inclusion of a dualie means we're off to a good start, right?
Although we don't have many details on the Duo besides what can be gleaned by the one image, its edge-to-edge display and rumored dual-core processor have the makings of an intriguing little device. That said, the lack of intelligence on the Duo means you'd be wise not to get your hopes up too much, at least not until we can score some more info on it.
