Hot on the heels of news that the next major Windows Phone 7 update, codenamed Mango, may contain new features like voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, Microsoft just sent out invites for a preview event where it'll be showing off that very update. The gathering will take place on Tuesday, May 24th at 10:00 AM and, as you can see above, Microsoft says it'll be "lift[ing] the curtain on the next major release of Windows Phone."
Microsoft doesn't explicitly come out and say what it's got up its sleeve for the event, but I wouldn't be surprised to see multitasking, IE9, and some other goodies in action. Whatever the folks from Redmond end up showing, you can be sure that we'll be covering it all for you. Stay tuned!
