Samsung Replenish photos and specs leak out

Remember the Samsung Replenish, an eco-friendly Android phone that Sprint is likely going to announce tomorrow? We suspected that it was actually the name of that portrait QWERTY Sammy device that has leaked a couple of times in the past and, thanks to a new leak today, all of our suspicions have been confirmed. The folks at Pocketnow have been handed some press shots of the Replenish, aka SPH-m580, and even have some specs to go along with them. The Replenish will be packing a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 600MHz processor, 2-megapixel camera, an optical solar panel cover, a body made at least partially of recycled plastic, and Android 2.2. According to the rumor mill, the device could be launching as soon as May 5th.

Although the Replenish certainly doesn't look like a suitable handset for you bleeding edge types, it'll make a great phone for those users that are eco-conscious or anyone looking for a cheaper and/or starter smartphone, especially since it'll likely sport a wallet-friendly price tag. If the info from previous leaks holds true, we should see the Replenish made official tomorrow, so stay tuned.
