Motorola's WiFi-only XOOM isn't set to launch until this Sunday, the 27th, but don't tell that to Staples. It's been revealed that some Staples locations have gone ahead and put the WiFi-only Motorola XOOM out for sale a couple of days early, along with a nice stand, balloons, and even SD cards, even though you can't use them with the slate just yet.
The XOOMs may only be going on sale two days early, but for anyone that has been aching to pick up the WiFi-only model while watching everyone enjoy the Verizon version, this is a great way to kick off the weekend. For anyone that's had an eye on the WiFi-only XOOM, I'd give the local Staples a call to see if the device is already on sale. Just be sure to let us know if you're successful when you're all done. How many of you out there plan on picking up the WiFi-only version of Motorola's Honeycomb-powered tablet?
