CTIA VP promises a "significant" tablet will make its debut in Orlando

We're sure to see at least a few new products revealed at CTIA later this month, including a tablet or two. Today CTIA vice president Rob Mesirow gave us a hint as to what we can expect from the big show, saying that a "significant" new tablet will make its debut some time during the event. This mysterious slate won't be alone, though, as Mesirow said that "We're going to see a ton of tablets at this show." As for new phones, the exec said that they're definitely a possibility, but everything is still up in the air now as many companies make their launch plans at the last minute. Finally, Android lovers should be in heaven during CTIA, as Mesirow said that the event will be "Android, Android, Android" since most other platforms won't be making much of an appearance, if they do at all.

So far, we know that Sprint's got something up its sleeve for its big CTIA event, although no one is quite sure what that is, and that Samsung will likely reveal at least one new Galaxy Tab at their own gathering. Will either of these two companies have something to do with the "significant" device that Mesirow was referring to? Tough to say, but feel free to drop your speculation in the comments below.
