AT&T creates post-paid tablet plans, lowers data overages

In an announcement this morning, AT&T has pulled the curtain off their brand new tablet-centric, post-paid data plans. The new plans are, for all intents and purposes, almost exactly like their previous brethren in the prepaid variety, but have a few minor changes in place. First and foremost, for those who go over their data allotment in a month, will now "only" have to pay $10 per GB they go over, instead of the $25 they had to pay with the prepaid plans.

The plans come in the same $15 per month for 250MB or $25 per month for 2GB. Existing customers can simply add the plan to their current monthly bill, as it doesn't require a contract and they are considered month-to-month. AT&T is still offering the prepaid options, too. It's good to see that AT&T is adding options for customers when it comes to tablets, even if they aren't including any different options related to size or price. Maybe in the future.
