Usually when a phone leaks, we get all kinds of photos of the thing being used in the wild before we learn when it'll actually launch. Things have been different with the Motorola Olympus, though. We saw photos of the Olympus powered off a couple of weeks ago, and before we could see what the thing was like powered on, AT&T let slip that it would be launching in December or January. Today, though, new images of the Olympus have emerged, this time in full turned-on, non-blurry glory. Allegedly purchased at a flea market, you can see that the Olympus is running the skin known as MOTOBLUR and is sporting both a microUSB port and HDMI port along the right side of the device. As for screen size, you'll likely be staring at a 4-inch display. Check out another shot down below.
The whole "bought at a flea market" thing would be a story I'd like to hear, but that's not really the focus here. Anyway, the Olympus looks quite a bit like a DEFY on its face, although most people agree that the screen on the Olympus is a big larger than that on the DEFY. There's still been no confirmation that the Olympus is sporting a Tegra 2 processor, although that may not matter much to some now that we know that full-on MOTOBLUR is on board. Considering the high-end (rumored) specs, though, I'd say that the Olympus is going to be worth checking out, regardless of your stance on stock Android v. skinned Android. Now that we've got plenty of images of the Olympus in the wild, anyone think that Verizon's LTE-enabled Etna is going to be any different?
