Samsung Galaxy Tab passes the FCC in a WiFi-only flavor

When the WiFi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab leaked in a Best Buy ad, there were a few naysayers that still didn't believe the device's existence.  The latest news about the Tab should quiet the non-believers, though, as the non-cellular version of the Tab has passed through the FCC.  There's not much more to get into here except the model number of the tablet, which is GT-P1010.

Good move on Samsung for deciding to create a WiFi-only version of the Galaxy Tab, as I'm sure that there are plenty of customers out there interested in an Android tablet not tied to any sort of carrier.  One of the things about this Tab that I'm interesting in learning about is if it packs a GPS chip.  If you'll remember, the WiFi-only iPad is missing GPS, so it may be a good idea for Sammy to throw that capability into their WiFi Galaxy Tab.  So now that the device is looking increasingly probable, how many of you are going to pick up a WiFi-only Galaxy Tab?
