Samsung Cetus i917 shown off on video by Microsoft employee

Microsoft's hasn't even made their new mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7, available to the public, but that hasn't stopped the plethora of leaks with handsets running the OS.  One of the earliest WP7 leaks was of the Samsung Cetus i917, and today we've got another look at the Cetus for you.  The device makes a short appearance during an episode of Microsoft's internal Channel 9 show, being shown off by Windows Phone 7 program manager Charlie Kindel.  In the short video, we're shown the dialer, People app, and a garage door opener app.  To see the Cetus in motion, you can watch the clip below.

Microsoft is expected to show off Windows Phone 7 in a few weeks, and I couldn't be more excited.  WP7 looks like an attractive, powerful OS, and considering how much work Microsoft has been doing to attract developers to their platform, I'm sure we'll see some great apps available at or shortly after release.  It's disappointing that WP7 will be GSM-only for at least the remainder of 2010, but with handsets sporting specs like the Cetus (4-inch 800x480 AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera, front-facing VGA cam), I'm sure that WP7 will do just fine.
