Motorola Chindi for AT&T leaks, looks an awful lot like a Flipout

Motorola has been full of leaks lately, and now we've got another one for you.  The folks over at Gizmodo have posted photos of a square Motorola device called the Chindi running on AT&T.  Looking extremely similar to a Flipout, the Chindi is said to be running Android 2.1 beneath MOTOBLUR with a 3.1 megapixel camera.  Not much else is known about the device, but we'll be sure to keep you updated once we learn more.

Considering Motorola has said in the past that MOTOBLUR would be fading into the background, I'm surprised that we aren't seeing the new BLUR-ish skin seen on the DROID X and DROID 2.  However, we have to remember that the device in the photos is probably a pre-production unit and that the name and software are subject to change before launch (whenever that is).  As always, I'm glad to see AT&T building their Android lineup with more devices, although I can't help but wish that they would start releasing some more high-end, DROID or EVO-like devices on their network.  The wait continues, I suppose.
