The BlackBerry Pearl 9100 received a lot of coverage at WES this year, and it seemed to get a lot of fanfare from the media. Still, there hasn't been much in the way of rumors or official confirmation from carriers to determine who would be getting the device and when. Sure, we've seen two variants pass through the FCC with AT&T and T-Mobile 3G bands, but still, no word from carriers.
Yesterday, PocketBerry came across a parts supplier who was selling a BlackBerry Pearl 9100 "bottom cover" with the AT&T logo displayed on the front. This could mean that we'll be seeing the device hit the big globe in the very near future. This summer seems to be the "summer of launch," so if you're holding out for the Pearl 3G, just hold on a little bit longer, my guess is that you'll see it before summer's end. Will you be waiting around?
