Well, hello shiny sneaky little new phone. What's that? You just got your FCC wings today, congratulations!
Yesterday (Monday), the Huawei U8100-7/IVY received the FCC stamp of approval for use on US soil. The IVY is a GSM/EDGE phone with GSM850/900MHz frequencies and HSDPA/UMTS frequency Band I and Band V supporting 3G data. The IVY is also enabled for Bluetooth and has received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance for IEE Standard 802.11 b/g.
The filing came with all sorts of goodies, such as test reports, external and internal photos and a multi-part user manual. Judging by the 3G Bands and some of the language in the user manual, I suspect this device will be headed to somewhere in Europe and/or Australia. There didn't seem to be a spec list per se, however the IVY appears to be running Android 2.1 (you can see images of live wallpapers in the manual) and comes with standard features such as a camera and video capture capabilities as well as less common features such as an FM radio tuner.
