MWC 2010: Acer announces five additional devices

Thought the Liquid e was Acer's big announcement of the day?  Think again.  In addition to the Android-powered device, the company announced five additional smartphones, three of which run Android and two that run Windows Mobile 6.5.3.  There's a netbook thrown in there, too.

Here are a few specifications of each device, courtesy of our friends at IntoMobile:

Acer beTouch E110 (Press Release)

  • 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touchscreen
  • 3G, Bluetooth, FM radio
  • 5-way navigagtional button
  • 3.0-megapixel camera
  • Customizable 5-page homescreen
  • Pre-installed apps for Facebook and Twitter (Twidroid), media player (Nemo Player), Acer UrFooz (some kind of an avatar app) and Spinlets for streaming media from the Internet
  • 1500 mAh battery
  • Available in March 2010 in black and dark blue

Acer beTouch E400 (Press Release)

  • 3.2-inch HVGA screen
  • 3.2-megapixel camera with flash
  • 3G, WiFi, GPS (no Bluetooth?)
  • 600 MHz processor
  • Pre-installed apps include Facebook client, Acer UrFooz, Nemo Player, Documents To Go, Acer Sync
  • Available in "soft-touch black," "ceramic white," and "pearl red" in April 2010

Acer neoTouch P300 (Press Release)

  • 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen
  • Side-sliding QWERTY backlit keyboard
  • Qualcomm 7225 processor
  • 3G+, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
  • Pre-installed apps include Spinlets, Acer Sync, “connected contacts," and standard Windows Mobile apps
  • Available in March 2010

Acer neoTouch P400 (Press Release)

  • 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen
  • 600 MHz CPU
  • 3.2-megapixel camera
  • 3G+, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth
  • Pre-installed apps include Spinlets, Acer Sync, “connected contacts” (with social networks) and standard WinMo apps
  • Available in May 2010

Acer Ferrari smartphone (Press Release)

  • Available in March 2010, the only thing that's really known is the OS - Android 2.1.  Said to offer an “extremely sophisticated design” that will “amaze both the trendiest style enthusiasts and techno-geeks," it will ship with nice floor mats, upgraded wheels, leather, and a Kenny G. CD (Members Only jacket not included at this time).

Acer also announced an Aspire One running Android and Windows 7.  The press release is here, but in a nutshell, it will allow you to switch between the two operating systems seamlessly.  Simply push a button, and you should be up and running within 18 seconds.
