On the heels of a potential Gmail application for the iPhone, RIM appears to be developing an enhanced Gmail plugin that will allow users to view, archive, search, activate labels, and more. Like the threaded, conversation-type format when you check your e-mail on the Gmail website? You're in luck. Supposedly, the new application will allow you to do the following:
- See your Gmail based emails in Conversation View for simple topic management
- Add and remove labels and stars to emails to keep inbox organized
- Archive and report as spam actions for mailbox management on the go
- Search your entire Gmail inbox
At the moment, the program is only available to beta testers and employees. Though admission is unlikely, you can try and apply for a beta testing slot here. Give it a go and let us know your results!
