Android: RC31 brings features, battery life

Just a quick update for Android lovers: according to the buzz, by the end of the month, G1 owners will have improved battery life and at least some of the cupcake features we've covered recently. GoogleandBlog has it that a "senior G1 PDA Specialist" has confirmed that the updates will occur over the air, by region, within two weeks. The site also dispels a few rumors that have been floating around about the good stuff being reserved for G2.

I finally got my new G1 (I'll talk about that later) and will let you know when the update hits my area.
