Too much is never enough, at least in the eyes of cell phone geeks. Even though Sony Ericsson dropped three new handsets on its faithful buying public just last week, rumors have been swirling about another handset announcement set for this coming Thursday, Nov. 15th. This announcement is supposed to bring the new SE flagship smartphone, the p5i, along with SE's "iPhone competitor" (that phrase is getting a little old, huh?), a touchscreen Walkman handset codenamed "Maria."
According to The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog there won't be an announcement this week, but there may or may not be another SE announcement before year's end. Most likely we won't see any new handsets officially unveiled - TUSEB claims to have that direct from SE's Head of Global PR, Aldo Ligouri - but we may get some P5i details at an "info event" next week.
Too much drama, huh? Bring on the goods, already, Sony Ericsson! And make 'em work with 3G networks here in North America!
